Community Sustained Agriculture
CSA is a unique concept that allows consumers to become an organic farm partners in their region by reserving a portion of the crop. The shares, organic vegetable basket are distributed weekly directly to the partners at a predefined drop point. The content and basket proportion vary each week, depending on the pace of the crops and the whims of Mother Nature.

By becoming a partner, the consumer shares the benefits and risks of organic gardening with his "family farmer", while allowing to this last to have a guaranteed minimum income. The concept of CSA supports the local economy, reducing the distance between the place of production and the consumer, allowing him to enjoy healthy food s, fresh and harvested at maturity, with a benefic gesture for the environment.

Organic basket concept is ideal for people looking for new culinary discoveries. This concept will allow you to enjoy freshly harvested food while learning to cook otherwise with sometimes new but still tasty foods! The Artisans de la Terre basket is always filled with surprising content. We're proud to offer the best of our crops to our partners!

How does it work?
Organic basket delivery is from June to September, during 15 weeks. We offer two baskets sizes: the “couple” and the “family”. The delivery takes place at two drop point: every Tuesday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Community Center of Buckingham, located at 181 rue Joseph, and every saturday at the Old Chlsea Market, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Exchange basket
When you pick your organic basket at the drop point, an “exchange basket” is always available allowing you to exchange certain items against another one of equal value. Useful when you don’t like an item in your basket!

Additional products
It is possible at any time to order additional product with your regular organic basket such as basil for your pesto or Italian tomatoes to make canned tomatoes sauce in anticipation of the winter. Ask us!

How do I sign up?
To register for organic basket, you must fill out the registration form and send by mail your first payment. The second payment is done at the time of the first organic basket delivery in June. The first delivery date will be confirmed by email. The only thing left to do is to come and pick up your freshly harvested share every week at the drop point
